Perry M. Chappano, voted by his peers as one of the preeminent international law attorneys in the U.S., from 1994 to the present, received his Masters in Law - Business and Taxation / Transnational Practice from The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and prior to that, his Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University College of Law. Perry is admitted in Ohio, Indiana, the District of Columbia, numerous federal courts and the U.S. Tax Court. He also practiced as a foreign attorney with Studio Legale Rubino-Sammartano E Associati in Milan, Italy.

Perry has extensive experience in copyright, trade dress, trademark, trade secret, licensing, business competition and computer law. He has regularly counseled clients on all aspects of corporate law and business law, including advising U.S. businesses on NAFTA and planning for doing business abroad.

Perry serves as an adjunct faculty member at Franklin University in Business Law, International Business Law, and other related subjects. He is a member of the Ohio State, Indiana State, District of Columbia, Columbus Bar Associations.

He served from 1992-1994 as the Chairman of the Columbus Bar Association's International Law Committee and remains active in the Committee's work. From 1994 to 1996 he served as Chair of the Columbus Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service Committee, and from 1994-2004 as an active contributing member of the CBA's Editorial Advisory Board and Professionalism Committee. Perry is a Fellow of the Columbus Bar Foundation. He has been a Big Brother with the Big Brothers of Columbus and Franklin County, Ohio since 1990.
